Vegas Baby!

RockSports is in Vegas this week for the AFRDS show. In this case, what happens in Vegas does not stay in Vegas. We are hoping to bring back some fresh ideas from fundraising suppliers across the nation. We are also there to offer other fundraising distributors the opportunity to offer our T-shirts as a fundraising product or prize program.

We have enjoyed being apart of the Association of Fundraising Distributors and Suppliers for the last eight years. The fundraising industry has changed drastically in the past 10 years. For instance, one recent change is that schools are not allowed to sell candy on campus. Another change is the safety concern of door to door selling by students. Also, with the number of activities that kids are involved in, there seems to be an overall fundraising burnout among parents. AFRDS is there to insure that the suppliers and distributors are informed and up to date with the latest news and regulations.

At RockSports we strive to make your fundraising experience as profitable and organized as possible. Our fundraising products should only be sold to family members (including parents), friends, and close, known neighbors. Often times we encourage our organizations to offer an alternative "buy out" option for parents. A buyout option allows kids and parents that wish not participate an opportunity to simply contribute a predetermined amount to the organization on behalf of their child, which is added to the funds being raised. Another way that RockSports overcomes burnout and increases parent involvement is by setting clear, attainable goals and setting tight deadlines. Prizes or incentive programs are often set up as well to motivate everyone towards the organization's common goal.

If you have questions or would like more information about a RockSports fundraiser, RockSports fundraising tees, or other RockSports fundraising products please give us a call or shoot us an email.
